WHY NOW: Youth unemployment in Uganda is at 64% — Mityana's youth deserve skills, not poverty. | GOAL: Raise $450,000 to establish a fully operational Digital & Vocational Training Hub. | IMPACT: 500+ youth trained per year · 15+ career pathways · Self-sustaining within 5 years.

A Solution Built for
Real-World Impact

This is not a typical computer lab project. It is a comprehensive, multi-track training ecosystem designed to permanently transform the economic prospects of Uganda's youth.

The Problem

A large proportion of youth in Mityana lack access to computers and the practical technical skills demanded by today's job market. Theoretical knowledge exists, but hands-on, job-ready training that leads to employment or self-employment remains out of reach due to cost and limited infrastructure.

  • 64% youth unemployment in Uganda
  • Limited affordable technical training
  • Digital divide deepening in rural areas
  • Low job-placement from existing programs

Our Solution

Lubcom Tech Solutions proposes a blended ICT + vocational training model that goes far beyond basic computer literacy. Trainees will gain hands-on skills in networking, device repair, digital production, fashion, crafts, and entrepreneurship — creating immediate income-generating capacity.

  • Practical, hands-on skills training
  • Market-aligned curriculum
  • Cross-integrated digital + vocational tracks
  • Job placement & startup incubation support

The Outcome

Within five years, this hub will be fully self-sustaining, generating its own revenue through paid certifications, repair services, and institutional partnerships — making every donor dollar multiply beyond the initial investment.

  • 500+ youth trained per year
  • 10+ youth businesses launched
  • Self-sustaining from Year 4
  • Replicable model across Uganda

Your Investment Creates
Generational Change

Every dollar you invest in this project does not just train one youth — it creates a ripple effect across families, communities, and the entire Mityana economy.

01

Direct Community Impact

500+ youth trained annually means 500 families with improved livelihoods, 500 young people with hope and direction, and 500 potential entrepreneurs contributing to Uganda's GDP.

02

SDG-Aligned Investment

This project directly supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

03

Sustainable Business Model

Unlike many NGO projects, this hub is designed to become self-sustaining by Year 4 through paid certifications, repair service revenues, and corporate partnerships — protecting your investment long-term.

04

Inclusive for All Youth

Priority is given to young women, youth with disabilities, and economically vulnerable groups. Gender-responsive training design ensures no one is left behind in Uganda's digital transition.

05

Proven Local Leadership

Lubcom Tech Solutions has been operational since 2018, serving Mityana and surrounding areas. This is not a new startup — it is a trusted community institution seeking to scale its proven impact.

06

Full Accountability

Independent monitoring, evaluation, and auditing is built into the budget. Donors receive regular impact reports, financial statements, and beneficiary success stories throughout the project lifecycle.
